Забудь про море, а тем более про краб в Канаде. Краб ловят на Аляске, но там нужна рабочая виза. Работа в море, работа неблагодарная, ты должен был это понять из своего прошлого опыта. Вспомни работу на краболове, и ты все поймешь. В противном случае тебе придется здесь заново переучиваться. Работу себе найдешь на берегу. Вначале надо приехать. Колумб не отрыл бы Америку, если бы он туда не прибыл.

The Train Operator ensures that train movements are operated in a safe manner while respecting the established train schedules with the constant objective of providing the highest quality customer service possible to the population.  The incumbent of this position is also responsible to ensure compliance to all rules and regulations, as well as, local regulations associated with the host railways. 
 
Key responsibilities are:
 
Ensure that all train movement activities are performed safely and promptly while providing courteous service to Transit’s clients in accordance with Good Customer Service, corporate policies, missions, practices, government regulations, Canadian Rail Operating rules and special instructions.
Operate trains during various work hours and on various routes within a 24/7 transportation environment maintaining alertness, situational awareness and vigilance. 
Adhere to established operating rules, speed restrictions and regulatory requirements: initiate remedial action to eliminate undesirable train operation practices and communicate with traffic control any issues or problems that may hinder the safe operation of the system.
Complete train performance reports.
Interfaces regularly with Commuter Central and host railways rail traffic control centers, as well as host railway operating officers to ensure the coordination of daily performance of the operations.
Immediately respond and correct deviations to the operating plan. 
Report and communicate with Maintenance staff in order to correct defects that could affect train performance on the road.

Qualifications
 
Successful candidates must:
Be fully qualified as a Locomotive Engineer
Possess a valid driver’s license
Possess a Secondary School diploma or higher
Must be able to maintain required level of fitness as outlined in the Canadian Railway Medical Rules Handbook
*Experience in train operation will be considered an asset however full training and certification will be provided by Bombardier

For over thirty years Bombardier has been successfully doing business with GO Transit in Toronto.  We are currently recruiting for Customer Service Ambassadors-On-Board GO Trains
 
If like us, you are passionate about winning and have a drive for results, if customer service is your first priority, if you are challenged by a multi-tasking position and you possess the ability to work in an operational environment with sensitive time lines then, Bombardier is the place for you.
 
 
Concretely the incumbent will have the following responsibilities:
 
Attend to, resolve and escalate customer service issues on a daily basis.  Operate independently and make sound business decisions that show customer focus
Make all announcements, including but not limited to informing passengers of any delay of five minutes or more, stations stops, special on board announcements etc
Ensure that all passengers have alighted, discarded newspapers and other litter picked up, lost personal items are collected and doors secured at terminus
Responsible to safely deploy the courtesy ramp as well as operating the required doors at station stops through radio communications following GO Transit Accessibility Guidelines (appropriate training will be provided)
Interface regularly with the Train Operator, GO Commuter Central and host railway's rail traffic control centres when required via the radio as well as a PDA.
Communicate with Maintenance staff in order to correct defects which could affect train performance on the road minimize delays to train and the passengers. (appropriate training will be provided)
Implement and carry out the evacuation plan in the event of an emergency
Compile customer service reports and other reports as required

To be considered for this position you must:
Possess a Secondary School diploma or higher
Note that the Customer Service Ambassador is the face of GO onboard trains, thus successful candidates will have to comply with a dress code and uniform policy.

    * Repairs and components replacement;
    * Movement of rail equipment as required;
    * Indoor and outdoor duties as required;
    * Other related duties as assigned within the classification and lower

Qualifications
 
 Applicant must possess:

    *
          o Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in related field;
          o Capable of using all related hand and power tools such as but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and measuring instruments;
          o Capable of using computers;
          o Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license;
          o Must prove capabilities through the successful completion of applicable test (s) and examination(s).
